Abstract：RCD is widely applied in the electric shock protection and fire protection,and the use scenarios and selection of RCD are involved in the design and construction drawing review. RCD is not a panacea with many limitations in actual application,

which shall not be used in greater scope of application. Combined with several application examples,the RCD action time,the role of RCD in fault protection to improve protection sensitivity,and the reflections on RCD application in facilities such as heating cables and electric heating film are discussed.

摘　要：RCD在电击防护、火灾防护方面的应用范围非常广泛，设计及施工图审查过程中，涉及到很多RCD的使用场合、选型要求等问题，RCD并不是万能的，在应用方面存在局限性，应避免使用范围扩大化。结合几个实例，阐述关于RCD动作时间、故障防护中RCD对提高保护灵敏度的作用，以及RCD在加热电缆和电热膜等设施中的应用体会。
