从没见过non-trip-free的断路器。。。

"Trip free"不论是在IEC还是在IEEE或UL相关的断路器标准中都有规定，目前主流的低压断路器应该都具备该功能。标准规定如果脱扣操作依赖于预先弹簧储能，那么在合闸操作完成之前，就应该储能完毕。

A trip-free circuit breaker is a circuit breaker that will trip (open) even if the operating mechanism (ON-OFF switch) is held in the ON position. A nontrip-free circuit breaker can be reset and/or held ON even if an overload or excessive heat condition is present. In other words, a nontrip-free circuit breaker can be bypassed by holding the operating mechanism ON.

Trip-free circuit breakers are used on circuits that cannot tolerate overloads and on nonemergency circuits. Examples of these are precision or current sensitive circuits, nonemergency lighting circuits, and nonessential equipment circuits.

Nontrip-free circuit breakers are used for circuits that are essential for operations. Examples of these circuits are emergency lighting, required control circuits, and essential equipment circuits.

是“自由脱扣“，GB/T 2900中有标准的术语翻译，词典不是很准确：）

自由脱扣：当断路器手柄卡在合闸位置、或当电动操作时合闸信号保持闭合的情况下，过流发生时脱扣机构仍能使断路器可靠断开。

值得一提的龙王贴图中的最后一句，在美标产品中有一种叫”Molded-Case Switch"，表面上是隔离开关，但是其实也内置有过流脱扣机构，在过电流约10倍额定值时会自动脱扣。

自由脱扣是否好些？英文解释就是说及时手柄被卡住，断路器也能脱扣。

If the breaker does not require another charged spring or mechanism to trip (open) in case of fault, then it is a trip free breaker,
Large breakers require a spring charged to trip or open the breaker and spring to close the breaker as required. In case of fault if you can open the breaker more faster then the short circuit rating and ability to open during a fault is improved. A trip free breaker will open slower than a charged spring type. The SCC kA rating is also lower. Lower cost because of less mechanism.

自由脱扣前面Tricity已经说的很清楚了，主要的目的是防止断路器在操作过程中的分断受制于外部的人力或者其它动力。

作为保护用的断路器是自动断开的，自动断开的断路器就必须是自由脱扣的，这在标准都有规定。

提到自由脱扣，一般会有两个概念经常涉及：
一是自由脱扣的功能，通俗地讲，即使合闸操作或者合闸命令依然有效，但断路器收到分闸/分断命令后，断路器的触头还是会返回并保持在断开位置.简单理解，自由脱扣就是分闸命令优先。

二是防跳跃的功能，即前面提到，断路器断开以后，如果断路器要在合闸，先前的合闸命令必须彻底消失，然后在发出合闸命令，断路器才能再次合闸。这就是防跳跃的功能，Anti-pumping。

那在实际中，这两个功能都是经常用但不注意的。试想这么一种情况，如果一个塑壳断路器，操作人员合在故障状态，那么在触头闭合的一瞬间，断路器就已检测到短路经过短暂ms的延时开始机构动作，因为人的反应时间和速度相比断路器的动作时间相差很多，有可能合闸的手还没松开，断路器就已经完成分断了，如果不是自由脱扣式的，那得等操作人员的手松开以后才可以断开。这显然作为保护类的元器件是不允许的。

接着，既然保护已经自由脱扣断开了，因为合闸的命令依然有效（操作者手没及时脱开），断路器也不会因为操作杆还在合闸位置或合闸命令有效而再次重合，必须是手松开或者合闸命令消失以后，重新发出合闸命令才会再次合闸。

如果是自由脱扣的断路器，如果分合闸命令同时有效，断路器触头就不应该动作。

Tricity所言极是，这其实是涉及断路器的操作性能（闭合和断开），在GB14048.2中就明确了5种断路器的闭合条件，分别如下图。

施耐德的框架产品都是储能闭合的，储能的方式为弹簧，能量来源人力或电力，释能方式人力或电力
塑壳产品手动式的为无关人力闭合操作，带电操的塑壳为无关动力操作。
接触器是有关动力闭合。
按钮是有关人力闭合。
在断开操作中，Trcity已经给大家答案了，断开操作的能量是闭合操作完成之前事先储存在操作机构中的。
